Home office…
Pretty cool if we’ve an office at home. It can be an office for anything, be it a bakery shop, tailor, ect… but I’m particularly interested in internet home office. Smartzul has a vast coverage on home office a.k.a SOHO in his blog.
Thought setting up a home office is quite cheap and I went to this one shop to survey a price for a “L’ shape table for my desktop. To my surpraise it’s cost ~RM2000 just for the table. Damn, not that cheap to setup a home office for part time blogger like me. May be need to get the cheap one or survey other shop at another time.
Yesterday I went to one hypermarket and saw a very good offer, not the table but the chair. Realizing that my current typhist chair is giving me a backache, I grab one presidential back chair at RM99.90. Not sure either this is the cheapest one but earlier the price was at ~RM170. So, I save RM70.10 there… cool and I’m enjoying this new presidential back chair.
But I’m still not comfortable with ergo setup of my home office. Definately will look for a cheap table anyway. Survey dulu lah….
For those looking for laptop replicator or docking station for better SOHO setup, bunnyrich has some coverage on it. I’m using the port replicator and laptop stand in office cubical for ergonomic posture. This is a requirement since it’s a must for MNC company to reduce a safety concern particularly on ergonomic.
